As production continues on The Crowded Room, Apple Studios is still continuing to expand the cast of its forthcoming anthology drama. Deadline brings word that Harry Potter vet Jason Isaacs and Fauda star Lior Raz have officially been tapped to star opposite Tom Holland, who’s playing the lead role of Danny Sullivan.
Isaac is set to portray the role of Jack Lamb, a friend of Danny’s biological father and the employer to Raz’s character Yitzhak, Danny’s landlord, who’ll become an important figure in his life.

Described as a captivating thriller, the 10-episode first season will be based in part on creator Akiva Goldsman’s own life, and inspired by Daniel Keyes’ acclaimed biography titled “The Minds of Billy Milligan.” Joining Holland are Amanda Seyfried, Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Christopher Abbot and Emma Laird.
The Crowded Room is an anthology series that dives into the true tales of people who have “struggled and learned to successfully live with mental illness.” Holland is set for the lead role of Danny Sullivan, a character loosely based on Milligan, the first person ever acquitted of a crime because of multiple personality disorder (now known as dissociative identity disorder).
