The ongoing modern C-drama Angels Fall Sometimes released episode 6 on March 11, 2024. The drama features Lin Yi and Landy Li in the lead roles. It tells the story of Lin Tuo (Lin Yi), who falls in love with An Zhi Que (Landy Li). They start dating, and everything seems to be working out perfectly. But Lin Tuo’s life turns upside down when he is diagnosed with a nerve disease that weakens his physical abilities.
In episode 6 of Angels Fall Sometimes, Lin Tuo meets Zhi Que and brings her favorite candy. They chat about the hardships of adult life. Every adult seems to be going through something. While somebody didn’t get the job they wanted, somebody lost the one they loved, and somebody is bothered by bills.
At work, Mr. Wei, Lin Tuo’s team leader, again scolds him in front of the whole team. No matter how diligently he works, it appears to him as if Mr. Wei always finds something to complain about. Be it how Lin Tuo introduces himself, or how he has not joined the team group, or how he is a fresher with no work experience, Wei always picks up on him. But Lin Tuo’s teammates have his back. They ask him not to worry, as Mr. Wei is a tough nut to crack and behaves rudely with every new employee.

Zhi Que decides to bring a cake and give Lin Tuo a surprise visit at work on the day of his birthday. But all her excitement fades away when she sees Lin Tuo getting scolded from afar. She can see how hurt Lin Tuo is and decides to leave quietly. Lin Tuo works till late. Only Jiang Chu Cheng (Wang You Jun) stays to help him out.
After work, they go out to get some dinner. Cheng advises Lin Tuo not to take Wei’s words to heart. He tells him that Wei is an excellent designer and can be a mentor for him. Meanwhile, Lin Tuo receives a text from Zhi Que’s co-worker, telling him that Que is unwell. Lin Tuo gets worried and rushes home.
In episode 6 of Angels Fall Sometimes, Lin Tuo reaches home and sees that Zhi Que is lying on the sofa. But it turns out that she is not sick. She pulled the trick so he would come home fast, and they could celebrate his birthday together. Lin Tuo cuts the cake, and the couple share a soulful kiss.
Cheng wants to treat Lin Tuo and Zhi Que to lunch. But Lin Tuo is unable to make it as he is extremely busy at work. Lin Tuo has a hard time at work as nobody is ready to lend him a helping hand. It seems to him as if his seniors are out to get him. Meanwhile, at the restaurant, Cheng can not take his eyes off of Zhi Que.
