Tray’s Back in Business in The Last O.G. Season 2 Trailer

TBS just released the trailer for season two of their sitcom The Last O.G., which stars Tracey Morgan (30 Rock) as Tray and Tiffany Haddish (The Oath) as Shay, a former couple trying to reconcile some semblance of a relationship after his 15-year stint in prison. In season two, Tray tries to put his culinary skills to the test by opening a food truck in his old neighborhood and really turning his life around. As Tray returns to his newly gentrified Brooklyn neighborhood, he discovers that his former girlfriend, Shay has married an affable, successful white man (Ryan Gaul) who is helping raise the twins (Taylor Mosby & Dante Hoagland) that Tray never knew existed. Wanting nothing more than to connect with his kids, but having neither the money to support them nor himself, Tray falls back on the skills he learned in prison to make ends meet while treading on unfamiliar territory. The series also stars Cedric the Entertainer as the head of the halfway house where Tray is staying, and Allen Maldonado as Tray’s cousin Bobby, who helps him adjust to life on the outside. It was created by John Carcieri and Jordan Peele, who both also executive produce alongside Morgan, Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum, John Carcieri, and Joel Zadak of Principato Young.

The Last O.G. season two will kick off on April 2 on TBS.
