According to a recent report from Deadline, ABC has passed on the untitled Alec Baldwin/Kelsey Grammer multi-camera comedy.

The move comes after network executives reportedly saw the finished pilot episode, and the series is now being shopped elsewhere by 20th Television in the hopes of being picked up. The comedy, which stars Baldwin, Grammer, and Alec Mapa, is written by Modern Family’s Chris Lloyd and Vali Chandrasekaran while being directed by James Burrows.
The report said that the comedy had a straight-to-series pickup for the 2021-22 season, with a writer’s room even being assembled for the project. However, the network had the option to not go forward with the series after the pilot episode, and they chose to do so.

The comedy follows the three men as they reunite decades after splitting up as roommates in their 20s. The three will then try to have one last hurrah at the lives they aspired to have.
Of course, Baldwin and Grammer are no strangers to situational comedies. Baldwin gained critical acclaim for his role on 30 Rock, while Grammer starred in Cheers and its spin-off Frasier, which saw him portray psychiatrist turned radio host Frasier Crane from 1984 through 2004.
