Limited Run Games has decided that they’ll do anything for a buck, even if it means reopening the mental scars left behind in the wider gaming public by one of the worst pieces of software ever to be put out on a store shelf. Indeed, they have announced that they’ll be releasing the utterly awful Panasonic 3DO title Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties on modern platforms.
Yes, the bizarre full-motion video slideshow car crash stars Edward J. Foster and former GLOW wrestler Jeanne Basone. It is generally considered to be one of the most putrid, ridiculous (and not in a good way), terrible, pointless, and downright vomitous pieces of not-very-interactive and sort-of-pornographic-but-not-quite entertainment ever to be released. It just won’t die.
Apparently, terrible acting performances and music that will make you want to pull out your own eardrums is enough to put the game into “so bad, it’ll sell if we release it again!” territory.
If you don’t believe us, just look at this soul-destroying Tweet.
Finally, the most requested and anticipated game of ALL TIME. We're bringing Plumbers Don't Wear Ties to PS4, PS5, PC, and Switch physically and digitally! Follow us for more info. #LRG3 pic.twitter.com/zNNcvfLf5i
