After nine months since HBO Max has granted a straight-to-series order to Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, it looks like series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has finally found their first leads for the upcoming reboot of the popular teen mystery drama. HBO Max has announced that Chandler Kinney (Zombies 2) and Maia Reficco (Kally’s Mashup) have been tapped for the leading roles of Tabby and Noa. In addition, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina director Lisa Soper is reuniting with Aguirre-Sacasa to helm the first two episodes of the new Pretty Little Liars reboot.
Kinney’s Tabby is being described as an aspiring director and horror movie buff. Like the other Little Liars, Tabby’s hiding a secret. Meanwhile, Reficco’s Noa is a striving, sardonic track star who’s working hard to get her life back to normal after a summer spent in juvenile detention.

Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Based upon the bestselling series of books by Sara Shepard, the Pretty Little Liars reboot is executive produced and written by Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring. Executive producers are Michael Grassi, Caroline Baron, and Alloy’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo.
