Universal Pictures’ Fast & Furious 7 is racing to a new release date, one week earlier. The James Wan film will now hit theaters Friday, April 3, 2015 instead of on April 10.
Starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Tony Jaa, Kurt Russell, Nathalie Emmanuel, Djimon Hounsou, Lucas Black, John Brotherton, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, Fast & Furious 7 continues the global exploits in the franchise built on speed with Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel returning as producers.
The April 3 date has Fast & Furious 7 going up against the Nicholas Sparks adaptation The Longest Ride. Although the latest entry in Wan’s former horror franchise, Insidious Chapter 3, was scheduled for the April 3 date, it has just been moved to May 29, 2015.
