ComingSoon is excited to debut the exclusive trailer for the upcoming drama The Laureate, written and directed by William Nunez. Gravitas Ventures will release the film in theaters and On Demand on January 21, 2022.

“The Laureate tells the story of a married couple on the brink of disillusion who invite a stranger to live with them in their idyllic cottage,” reads the official synopsis. “Will this stranger push their fragile state over the edge?”

The movie is based on the true story of British writer Robert Graves who wrote the renowned classics I, Claudius and Goodbye to All That. It stars Dianna Agron (The Family), Tom Hughes (A Discovery of Witches), Julian Glover (Game of Thrones), Laura Haddock (Guardians of the Galaxy), Fra Fee (Hawkeye), and Patricia Hodge (Miranda).
