NBC has dropped the full trailer for Blumhouse TV’s upcoming true-crime miniseries The Thing About Pam, centering around convicted killer Pam Hupp and her diabolical schemes surrounding the murder of Betsy Faria. It is scheduled to premiere on March 8.
The Thing About Pam trailer, which you can check out below, highlights the web of lies that Renée Zellweger’s Pam Hupp will orchestrate in order to frame Betsy’s husband Russ for the crime. It teases her major role in the respective investigations of the defense and prosecution teams.

Based on the Dateline episode and 2019 podcast, The Thing About Pam will delve into the murder of Betsy Faria in 2011, a case in which her husband was originally convicted for the crime, despite his plead of innocence. However, his sentence was later overturned with the emergence of another suspect in the form of Pam Hupp, who was convicted in 2019 and believed to have orchestrated her death to pin it on Betsy’s husband.
The limited series stars Oscar winner Renée Zellweger, Josh Duhamel, Judy Greer, Katy Mixon, Gideon Adlon, Sean Bridgers, Glenn Fleshler, Suanne Spoke, and Mac Brandt.

The six-episode series is written and executive produced by Jessika Borsiczky (UnReal, House of Lies), who is set as the showrunner. Executive producers are Zellweger, Carmella Casinelli, Liz Cole, Jason Blum, Noah Oppenheim, Chris McCumber, and Jeremy Gold.
