The hit anime series Masamune-kun’s Revenge will officially be returning for a second season.

The news was revealed in a new promotional video for the upcoming series, revealing that the second season — which will be called Masamune-kun’s Revenge R — will be coming in the future. A new logo for the series was also shown off in the video, along with a variety of clips from the first season.

As of yet, no official release date or plot details for the upcoming second season of the anime have been confirmed, leaving fans with little to go on for now. Based on the manga by Hazuki Takeoka and Tiv, Masamune-kun’s Revenge originally premiered in January 2017, and ran for 12 episodes (plus an OVA) before concluding.

“When Masamune Makabe was a child, he was rejected by a rich, beautiful girl named Aki Adagaki, who gave him the nickname ‘Piggy’ for being overweight,” reads the synopsis for the series. “Devastated, Masamune put great effort into working out to improve his appearance. Now a handsome yet narcissistic high school student, Masamune is determined to exact revenge — he will have Aki fall madly in love with him and ultimately reject her the next time they meet.”
