Perhaps the biggest news of the announcement is that Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, two characters set to be introduced in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, will be introduced into Dragon Ball Legends as playable characters. Gamma 1 will act as an attacker who specializes in Blast Arts combos and will receive a buff to his Critical Rate each time he uses a Blast Art. Gamma 2, on the other hand, will get increases to his Critical Damage while using his Special Move Arts, and will also receive buffs to things like Strike & Blast Arts costs, Arts Card Draw speed, and more.

For the first two weeks of this collaboration, regular Z Power drop amounts will be doubled in the game, with the “Sparking” (the game’s version of a very rare card) character drop rate boosted to 20% to give fans the chance to earn both Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. In addition, one “Sparking” character will be guaranteed in Consecutive Summoning periods during the entirety of the event.

Highlighting the event will be a special mission, and in celebration of the release, players will be able to play through it up to 100 times for free, with summon tickets also given out once a day that players can use to enter the missions once they play through their first 100 tries. A special daily login bonus will also be given to plays, with Chrono Crystals (an in-game currency) given out every day, alongside other exclusive items like summon tickets and more.

Elsewhere in the game, Dragon Ball Legends will get a “super boosted campaign,” with players able to earn more EXP and Zeni from the main story and event stories now. First-time clears of the main story up to Part 7 will also cost zero energy, so players who may be jumping into the game for the first time can experience it at an easier pace than in the past. New and old stages are also set to be included in the game, as well as unique equipment for Gamma 1 and Gamma 2.
