High School Musical: The Musical: The Series returns right before the end of July.
The third run of the High School Musical revival will hit Disney+ as part of the last additions the streaming network will release this month. Starting July 27, new episodes of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Season 3 will debut weekly. The series is a mockumentary musical teen drama that follows a group of students at East High. It currently stars Olivia Rodrigo as Nini, Joshua Bassett as Ricky, and Matt Cornett as E.J. Additionally, Sofia Wylie as Gina, Julia Lester as Ashlyn, as well as Dara Reneé as Kourtney, and Frankie Rodriguez as Carlos.
“Season 3 is set at Camp Shallow Lake, a sleepaway camp in California, as the Wildcats and their fellow campers are primed for an unforgettable summer ripe with romance, curfew-less nights and a taste of the great outdoors,” reads the logline. “With a high-stakes production of Frozen on the horizon AND a drama-filled ‘docu-series’ of the production in the works, the Wildcats will attempt to show who is ‘best in snow’ without leaving anyone out in the cold.”

On the same day, Disney+ will also release all six episodes of Light & Magic, a documentary focusing on the well-known motion picture visual effects company Industrial Light & Magic.
