Loosely based on William Gibson’s 2014 book of the same name, The Peripheral on Prime Video is a sci-fi action thriller. The story revolves around Flynne Fisher, a girl who earns extra money by playing VR games for the rich. She seems to be stuck in limbo, trying to take care of her mother and make ends meet. But when she beta tests an advanced headset, sent by a mysterious Colombian company, all hell breaks loose. The line between real-life and simulation blurs, and Flynne must learn to navigate her altered reality.
