Everyone starts to retreat, making Ketil angry. With Ketil distracted, one of Canute’s soldiers attacks him. Wulf leaves Canute’s side to confirm the situation. Thorgil uses the opportunity to attack Canute, although Canute blocks his sword. Wulf quickly returns and attacks Thorgil. More soldiers come, and Thorgil retreats to the ocean.
