Oshi no Ko episode 10 Recap

MEM-cho and Ruby want Kana to be the center, but she declines, saying she’s told them many times that she doesn’t want to be the center. After rehearsing and hearing their voices, Kana agrees to be the center, even though she really doesn’t want to. Miyako brings Pieyon to help the girls train and prepare for their performance. Kana and Pieyon have a brief, heartwarming conversation which cheers Kana up. However, Pieyon is actually Aqua in disguise, and the real Pieyon is on vacation.

Later, Kana starts rambling about her opinions on Aqua, which confuses MEM-cho. The night before their performance, Kana asks Ruby how she remains positive. Ruby talks a bit about her past and why she wants to be an idol. Later, Kana accidentally finds out that Aqua has been disguising himself as Pieyon.

On the day of the performance, Kana suddenly remembers her days as a child actor and how she’s become negative. Ruby finds her and says she’s nervous, and Kana reveals she’s scared to fail because she doesn’t want Ruby and MEM-cho to feel failure like she did. Ruby comforts her, saying they’re all rookie idols, so failing is natural.
