The Saw X Starz streaming release date is expected to be March 2024 in the United States. However, for viewers living overseas, they can stream Saw X on Lionsgate Play starting from December 2023. However, neither Lionsgate, the distributors of Saw X nor the filmmakers have confirmed an official streaming release date.
The March 2024 streaming release date is because of the streaming release pattern of Lionsgate films, where the film drops on Starz six months after its theatrical release. For example, John Wick 4, which was distributed by Lionsgate, dropped on Starz on September 2023, six months after the film arrived in theaters on March 2023. The December 2023 release date on Lionsgate Play for overseas viewers is because of the pattern Lionsgate follows for the streaming service, which is a three-month window between the theatrical and streaming releases.
Saw X will be set between the events of 2004’s Saw and Saw II and see a sick and desperate John Kramer travel to Mexico for a risky experimental procedure in an attempt to cure his cancer. However, Kramer soon learns that the operation is a scam and he plans his revenge.
Saw X’s cast includes Tobin Bell as John Kramer/Jigsaw, Shawnee Smith as Amanda Young, Renata Vaca as Gabriela, Paulette Hernandez as Valentina, Octavio Hinojosa as Mateo, and Synnøve Macody Lund as Dr. Cecillia Pederson.
Is Saw X coming out on Starz?
Saw X will be available to watch via streaming on Starz. Overseas viewers in countries such as India will have access to Saw X via Lionsgate Play.
Saw X is expected to come out on Starz and Lionsgate Play as the two streaming platforms are owned by Lionsgate, the distributor of the film.
Current Starz and Lionsgate Play subscribers will be able to watch Saw X when it airs. A Starz subscription costs $5.99 for 3 months, while a Lionsgate Play subscription costs Rs 700 annually and Rs 100 monthly in India.
