After a resounding success of the first two seasons, Aarya Season 3’s release date is highly anticipated. The popular series revolves around the story of Aarya Sareen (played by Sushmita Sen), who gives it her all to survive and protect her family when the world around her turns upside down. In July 2022, Disney+ Hotstar announced that it had renewed Aarya for a third season. This decision was welcomed with much excitement from fans, who have been looking forward to the lead, Sushmita Sen, essaying the role of the powerful Aarya once again. The lead actress herself said in a statement, “It is a new dawn for Aarya Sareen, and she is fierce. In season 3, she is going places and starting her own story free from the obstacles of her past.”
While the shooting may have resumed in 2022 itself, Sushmita Sen suffered a heart attack while shooting for the series in March 2023. This delayed the shoot. Fortunately, the actress resumed shooting and 7 months ago, the streaming platform released a teaser for the third season. Given this timeline, it is highly likely that Aarya Season 3 will be released by the end of 2023. Unless further delays push it to early 2024, viewers can expect to see their favorite star on the screen, hale and healthy, by the end of this year itself.
