Released in 2017, Classroom of the Elite season 3 is almost around the corner. The series initially seemed like a slice-of-life anime set in a peculiar high school. However, by the end of season one, audiences saw a different side of the protagonist, Kiyotaka Ayanokoji. Classroom of the Elite is fun and fast-paced. And, it’s true what they say about Kinugasa’s story, “Blink it and you’ll miss it.”
To keep the excitement around the series going, Classroom of the Elite creators recently unveiled a key visual that offered a closer look at the students of Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School. In the image, they are seen walking down a staircase with a hint of wariness in their expressions. It’s probably a good enough tease to keep interest in the anime afloat.

Classroom of the Elite: Everything you need to know about the anime
The highly anticipated Season 3 will be released in January 2024. The original release window for the series was July 2023, which was delayed due to various production-related issues. The upcoming season of the anime will conclude the first year of the story. It is based on nine light novels and two manga volumes by Shogo Kinugasa, with illustrations by Shunsaku Tomose.
Classroom of the Elite is chief-directed by Hiroyuki Hashimoto and Seiji Kishi. Yoshihito Nishoji directs the series at Studio Lerche, with series composition by Hayato Kazano and character designs by Kazuaki Morita.
Fans can watch the entire series on Crunchyroll, with episodes available in both subtitles and dubs.
On the official website of Classroom of the Elite, the synopsis of the series reads, “Kiyotaka Ayanokoji has just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, where it’s said that 100% of students go on to college or find employment. But he ends up in Class 1-D, full of all the school’s problem children.”
It continues, “Moreover, every month, the school awards students points with a cash value of 100,000 yen, and the classes employ a laissez-faire policy in which talking, sleeping, and even sabotage are permitted during class. One month later, Ayanokoji, Horikita, and the students of Class D learn the truth of the system in place within their school.”
