The much-awaited episode of Perfect Marriage Revenge is right around the corner. Episode 3 of the K-drama airs on November 4, 2023, at 9:50 p.m. KST on MBN and Viki. The series follows the story of a young woman Han Yi-Joo (Jung Yoo-Min) and her journey of seeking revenge on her family by entering into a contract marriage with Seo Do-Guk (Sung Hoon).
Episode 3 will document a fresh start for Yi-Joo and Do-Guk after they were engaged in the previous episode. Although the duo agree to get married, bringing Yi-Joo closer to her revenge, the path to achieve that is troublesome. Yi-Joo and Do-Guk’s family won’t make the process any easier if the preview clip is anything to go by.
Sung Hoon and Jung Yoo-Min grow closer in Perfect Marriage Revenge Episode 3
The previous episode showcased Han Yi-Joo breaking off her engagement with Yu Se-Hyeok (Oh Seung-Yoon) after discovering he likes her sister Han Yu-Ra (Jin Ji-Hee). She also finds out that Yu-Ra wishes to marry Do-Guk. In an effort to seek revenge, Yi-Joo enters into a contract with Do-Guk, wanting to marry him. The episode ends with the latter agreeing to the same.
However, Do-Guk and Yi-Joo get closer over multiple conversations. By the end of the second episode, a preview gives more context to their relationship. Pictures of the duo’s conversation at the park, including the one where they share a kiss, go public. This causes chaos between the two families.
Eventually, Do-Guk’s mother asks Yi-Joo to leave him and find someone else. Meanwhile, Yu-Ra argues with her father over his approval of Yi-Joo and Do-Guk. His response only triggers her more, and as a result, Yu-Ra takes pills to end her life. Her mother comes in time to save her, promising to break up the couple and get Yu-Ra and Do-Guk married.
Do-Guk encourages Yi-Joo to fall in love with him, suggesting this would be the best way to seek revenge on her family. As she tends to an ailing Do-Guk, their bond grows closer. The preview clip ends with Yi-Joo facing dire challenges.
