Reborn Rich, the South Korean revenge fantasy-thriller series starring Song Joong-Ki, is one of the most popular K-dramas of all time. The highly acclaimed South Korean director Jung Dae-Yoon directed it. It is an adaptation of writer San Gyung’s web novel of the same name. The series also received a nomination in the Best TV Movies/Mini-series category at the International Emmys.
Talking to India Today, director Jung Dae-Yoon opened up about the prospect of Reborn Rich season 2 and its plot. He said that the story of the probable second season will revolve around Chairman Jin Yang-Chul’s younger days.
Reborn Rich director almost confirms season 2
During a recent interview with India Today, Reborn Rich’s director, Jung Dae-Yoon, teased the news of season 2 of the K-drama series. When asked about the plans for the second season of the series, the director shared, “The author of the original story of ‘Reborn Rich’ is writing a prequel about Chairman Jin Yang-chul’s younger days. If there is a second season, it will probably be based on that story.”
As such, the probability for Reborn Rich season 2 is quite high. It will be interesting to see the story of Chairman Jin Yang-chul’s younger days unfold. Moreover, it will also be thrilling to see in which direction season 2 will take the audience.
Apart from Song Joong-Ki as Jin Do-Jun or Yoon Hyun-Woo, the cast list for Reborn Rich season 1 included Lee Sung-Min as Jin Yang-Chul, Shin Hyun-Been as Seo Min-Young, Yoo Je-Moon as Jin Young-Ki, Kim Jung-Nan as Son Jung-Dae, and Kim Nam-Hee as Jin Seong-Jun.
