The release time for the simulcast is November 29 at 11:30 a.m. PDT, 12:30 p.m. CT, and 2:30 p.m. EST. The Eminence in Shadow fans in the UK will be able to watch the episode at 7:30 p.m. BST.
There haven’t been any announcements regarding the release date for the English dub of this episode. However, it will be available to watch on HIDIVE at the same time as the subbed version.
The brief filler into the hot springs was surely fun to watch. However, it is clear from the promotional teaser that the series would be getting back to focusing on Cid’s adventures with the upcoming episode 9. It wasn’t clear when Cid went after the events of the seventh episode. However, he felt like avoiding the Shadow Garden and was probably traveling to a new location in Episode 8.
Fans have yet to see several important regions of the world. The upcoming arc will likely focus on a great exploration of one of those areas. Much couldn’t be made out from the trailer, but Cid might get involved in the politics of another kingdom.
