Shruti Haasan was roped in as the leading lady of Salaar. The makers introduced her character with a poster and revealed that her name in the film is Aadya. However, the film’s official trailer had only a single glimpse of the actress. Clad in a brown kurti, the actress was sitting in a vehicle with an amazed expression on her face.

The makers of Salaar recently dropped their final punch, a second trailer. The second trailer did not have many dialogues but all action. Prabhas as Salaar could be seen fighting goons in Khansaar, while Prithviraj Sukumaran’s avatar intrigued everyone. Shruti Haasan also had a dialogue in the trailer. She could be seen sitting in a gipsy while listening to stories about Salaar. As she realizes how powerful he is, he humorously asks for a drink. As per News18, fans have expressed concern about Shruti Haasan’s screen time in Salaar. Many are also confused if the actress has a key role opposite Prabhas or Prithviraj Sukumaran or not. However, it cannot be clarified at the moment as it seems makers have kept her part under wraps. Haasan has reportedly charged a whopping $963.6K for the film.
Prashanth Neel, who is known for creating the KGF film series, has directed the film. Hombale Films have bankrolled it.
