As we are a few days away from the theatrical release of Hrithik Roshan’s one of the most anticipated films, Fighter, rumors concerning Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in the film have started circulating, leading to heightened audience excitement.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter stars Hrithik Roshan in the centric role along with Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The film is produced under the banner of Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures. This marks the first time when Siddharth is working beyond the Yash Raj Films territory.
With a budget of $30 million, the movie serves as a planned aerial action franchise. It is scheduled for its theatrical release on January 25, 2024, on the Republic Day weekend. Earlier, Fighter was originally set to be released on September 30, 2022, but faced hindrances due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The story of the movie revolves around the Indian Air Force. Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, a role played by Hrithik Roshan, put big efforts into fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming a part of the IAF. During his journey, he faced rigorous challenges.
In addition, Fighter also depicts acts of brotherhood and combat as top IAF aviators band together to confront impending perils.

Despite the release of the teaser and its songs, the film is still unable to create a sufficient buzz among the audience. This resulted in makers being under pressure to make a significant impact through the trailer and ensure a strong opening day.
Amidst this, a Reddit user recently suggested that Shah Rukh Khan declined a cameo role in Fighter despite ongoing rumors, reportedly because he doesn’t want to associate himself with this genre. Despite the reports, this sounds unlikely as SRK himself featured in action-packed movies this year, including Jawan and Pathaan.
Following the rumors of the Dunki star allegedly declining the collaboration, Reddit users reportedly claimed that this has led to delays in other celebrities participating in Fighter’s promotional campaigns like Thank You Fighter.
However, there is no official confirmation from SRK or the Fighter team regarding this.
