Badland Hunters on Netflix: Explosive trailer teases Ma Dong-Seok in action mode
Renowned South Korean actor Ma Dong-Seok, popularly known as Don Lee, returns with yet another explosive action film, Badland Hunters, on Netflix. The story revolves around a post-apocalyptic wasteland destroyed by an earthquake. In the middle of power struggles and a tough battle for survival, Ma Dong-Seok plays Nam San, a wasteland hunter.
The trailer previews a high level of action from Ma Dong-Seok as he embarks on an important mission. As per Netflix, he is tasked with rescuing a teenager from a deranged doctor. In the trailer, the mysterious doctor, Yang Gi-Su (Lee Hee-Jun), promises to help people survive. However, it is apparent that he has other plans. The doctor is the only one who survived the terrible earthquake. People consider him as the only hope. But taking leverage of the situation, Gi-Su has people captured for his own selfish needs.
From then on, it’s a battle between the doctor’s plans and Don-Lee, who tries to complete the mission. Lee Jun-Young plays Choi Ji-Wan, Nam San’s ally. Apart from providing engaging action scenes, the film will showcase individual stories and emotions. The film also stars Roh Jeong-Eui and An Ji-Hye in pivotal roles.
Heo Myeong-Haeng brings his action genre experience into directing the film. Byun Seung-Min serves as the producer, while Kim Bo-Tong and Kwak Jae-Min are the screenwriters of this movie. Tune in to Badland Hunters on Netflix on Friday, January 26, 2024.
