An episode of Evil Lives Here: Shadows of Death, titled The Bad Boys, follows the murder of Harold Drury It also delves into the suspicions of his daughter, Jennifer Drury, that the death might have something to do with a larger cult. The Bad Boys will be aired on Sunday, February 4, at 10 p.m. ET on ID.
Harold Drury was behind the counter at an am/pm mini-mart when he was fatally shot and killed on April 27, 1992. Drury was the store clerk. Chad Alan Lee, who was later convicted of shooting him, had entered the store to purchase some cigarettes. When Drury opened the cash drawer, Lee allegedly shot him in the left shoulder which made Drury fall back. He then shot him multiple times on the top of his head, on the forehead, the right temple, the neck, and the cheek.
Other customers then found Harold Drury lying dead behind the counter and called the police. Authorities found a missing cash drawer. They also found an incomplete transaction of a cigarette purchase, as per the information presented at the Supreme Court of Arizona.

Chad Alan Lee was 21 when he was convicted of the first-degree murder of Harold Drury in 1994. He was additionally found guilty of armed robbery. After the murder, Chad Alan Lee took the entire cash drawer. He fled the crime scene in a car where Scott Hunt was waiting for him. Hunt and Lee then drove off while Lee dumped the revolver he used to shoot Harold Drury in a dumpster.
Lee was already given the death penalty after he was convicted of two other murders before he was found guilty of Harold Drury’s murder. He robbed, raped, and killed Linda Reynolds, a 31-year-old pizza deliverywoman in April 1992. He also robbed and killed a 42-year-old cab driver named David Lacey in the same month. Scott Hunt was only 14 at the time of conviction. He was spared from the death penalty, the Arizona Republic reported.
