According to Deadline, HBO has officially welcomed Daredevil star Scott Glenn to The White Lotus Season 3 cast for the highly-anticipated next installment to the acclaimed comedy series.
Glenn is reportedly playing the role of Jim, who “may be slowing down physically but is still mentally sharp and a little cranky,” reads the character’s description. This marks Glenn’s latest collaboration with the premium network, after previously starring in all three seasons of The Leftovers.
The White Lotus Season 3 Brings Hit Comedy to Asia
The White Lotus is created, written, and directed by White (Enlightened). It is executive produced by White, David Bernard, Mark Kamine, and Nick Hall. The highly-anticipated third season will take place in Thailand after Seasons 1 and 2 were filmed in Hawaii and Italy, respectively. Production is expected to begin in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok sometime this month.
Season 3 will also feature Walton Goggins, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Carrie Coon, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Sam Nivola, Sarah Catherine Hook, Aimee Lou Wood, Christian Friedel, Dom Hetrakul, Sarah Catherine Hook, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Julian Kostov. They will be joining Season 1 cast member Natasha Rothwell, who is reprising her role as Belinda Lindsay.
