Bleecker Street has dropped the Sasquatch Sunset red band trailer for its upcoming absurdist comedy, starring Golden Globe nominees Jesse Eisenberg and Riley Keough as Bigfoots.
The video introduces a family of Bigfoot, who are embarking on year-long adventure. It provides a glimpse of their everyday lives, as they explore the misty forests of North America. Following world premiere last month at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, the film will arrive in select theaters on April 12. This will then be followed by a wide release on April 19.

Who’s involved in Sasquatch Sunset?
Sasquatch Sunset is directed and produced by David and Nathan Zellner from a screenplay David Zellner wrote. Also starring alongside Eisenberg and Keough are Nathan Zellner and Christophe Zajac-Denek. The film is produced by Eisenberg, Lars Knudsen, Tyler Campellone, George Rush and David Harari, with Midsommar’s Ari Aster executive producing.
“In the misty forests of North America, a family of Sasquatches—possibly the last of their enigmatic kind— embark on an absurdist, epic, hilarious, and ultimately poignant journey over the course of one year,” reads the synopsis. “These shaggy and noble giants fight for survival as they find themselves on a collision course with the ever-changing world around them.”
