The Folio Society has announced a new addition to its fan-favorite illustrated hardcover books, this time focusing on the 85th anniversary of DC’s iconic Batman.
The latest collection, titled DC: Batman, brings together 12 seminal comics from Batman’s history, including ones from writers and artists like Bill Finger, Bob Kane, Jerry Robinson, Denny O’Neil, Neal Adams, Marshall Rogers, Frank Miller, Dave Mazzucchelli, Alan Moore, Brian Bolland, and Kelley Jones.
The comics were selected and will be introduced by former DC President, Publisher, and Editor-in-Chief Jennette Kahn. The total collection will be bound together in a 320-page deluxe, hardcover book, and will also come with a standalone replica of Batman #1, which was scanned in its entirety from an original 1940 copy.
DC: Batman will be available on The Folio Society’s website on February 20, 2024, for $100. Fans looking to get more information on the release can do so now.
