K-pop supergroup A.C.E is making their 2024 comeback with a new album, My Girl: My Choice. Before the album’s much-anticipated release, the rising K-pop icons shared a quirky teaser snap. Fans are hooked on the concept from the first look of the album.
The K-pop quintet A.C.E debuted in 2017 with five members- Park Junhee, Lee Donghun, Wow, Kim Byeongkwan, and Kang Yuchan. Since their debut, the group has shown slow and steady growth with innovative concepts and banger hits.
Their latest comeback will be the group’s first album after all the members finished their military service. Before the 2024 comeback, A.C.E dropped Effortless in 2023, marking the reunion of the members post-enlistment period.
A.C.E reveals teaser for new album My Girl: My Choice
A.C.E’s new album, My Girl: My Choice, will be released on February 22. From the first look of the poster, it looks like the K-pop stars will be bringing a romantic concept with a twist.
In the official poster of the album, all members are wearing formal wear. They are posing in an office supply room, hinting at an office rom-com parody concept. The tagline says, “An office comedy about the joys and sorrows of office workers, Petflix’s new work <?? ????> will be released on February 22nd.”
After hit singles like “Effortless,” “Angel,” and “Christmas Love” in 2023, My Girl: My Choice will be the group’s album comeback after three years.
What makes A.C.E stand out among a sea of other K-pop groups is their courage to take on experimental concepts and deliver them with perfection. The group members have expressed their wish to show new concepts to fans.
A.C.E’s Chan talked about their desire to do something new in every comeback in an interview. He shared: “We want to show a different concept and choreographies every album. We want to meet the fans face-to-face, of course, but we feel lots of pressure because fans waited for us so long and we want to make it deserving of waiting.”
The wait is definitely going to be worth it, as A.C.E has never failed to impress fans in the past. Fans can satisfy their curiosity about the album on February 22 when My Girl drops worldwide.
