Premalu stars Naslen and Mamotha Baiju in the lead roles. Girish A.D. directed the movie, while Shyam Mohan, Akhila Bhargavan, and Sangeeth Prathap played supporting characters. The movie follows the story of a young man who attempts to rebuild his life after facing failure in academics. However, he faces more setbacks when he cannot move to the UK. His life then takes a major turn when he meets Reenu and falls in love with her.

According to Pinkvilla, Premalu’s box office collection is looking as impressive as it could be. In the first week of its release, the movie earned $1.9 million at the Indian box office. However, the movie’s second week came out to be even better. In its second week, the film has earned a whopping $2.01 million. It seems that the movie’s positive reviews attracted more number of audience to the theaters. The film’s total earnings from India has reached $3.9 million. The highest earnings came from Kerala, i.e. $3.4 million.
Additionally, the movie’s overseas earnings have reached $2.5 million. Now, Premalu’s total worldwide collection has reached $6.46 million.
If Premalu continues its winning streak, it might cross the $6 million mark at the Indian box office.
