After the success of Jolly LLB 2 and Jolly LLB 1, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi are gearing up to shoot another movie in the franchise, Jolly LLB 3.
Jolly LLB 2 was written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, while Fox Star Studios produced the movie. It also starred Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, Kumud Mishra, and Saurabh Shukla. The movie follows a lawyer who fights a case against a powerful advocate to bring justice to a victim deceased in a fake encounter.
As per reports, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi are coming together for the legal dramedy. Check out the trailer for Jolly LLB 2:
Jolly LLB 3 to start shooting in May 2024
The makers have scheduled Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s Jolly LLB 3 to go on floors in May 2024. The release of the legal comedy is planned for 2025. According to a source, “Both Akshay and Arshad have allotted their dates for Jolly LLB 3 from May and are excited to embark on this journey together.”
The source further added that the actors will begin shooting for the movie after finishing a marathon sequence for Welcome To The Jungle. They said, “While a schedule of Welcome To The Jungle is wrapped up, the team reunites for the second stint from March 9. A big set is being put up in Mumbai where the entire ensemble of Welcome To The Jungle comes together. It’s a major schedule of 45 days, and by April end, the Welcome 3 team would be done shooting for about 60 days.”
Cape of Good Films and Disney will produce Jolly LLB 3. As per the source, “The entire drama aside, both the Jolly’s will have comical confrontations in the film. This is in sync with the kind of command they have over comedy.” the source concluded. Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi will reprise their roles as Advocates Jagishwar Mishra and Jagdish Tyagi for the movie. The makers are yet to reveal further details about the plot, but the movie will revolve around another relevant case.
Before shooting Jolly LLB 3, Akshay Kumar will wrap up shooting for Welcome To The Jungle. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters during the Christmas 2024 weekend. After Jolly LLB 3, the actor will move on to the Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 5.
