Ongoing modern C-drama Everyone Loves Me has released episode eight on March 3, 2024. The drama features features prominent actors Lin Yi and Zhou Ye in the lead roles. The drama is an adaptation of the novel “Bie Dui Wo Dong Xin” by Qiao Yao. Yu Chung Chung is the director of the drama. The original broadcasting network of Everyone Loves Me is Youku.
Everyone Loves Me tells the story of Yue Qian Ling (Zhou Ye), who has a crush on one of her batchmates, Gu Xun (Lin Yi). Qian Ling confesses her feelings to him. But sadly, Gu Xun turns her down, and the rejection leaves her heartbroken. She turns to video games to soothe her heart. On the other hand, Gu Xun is in love with his online gaming buddy. But little does he know that his friend and Qian Ling are the same person.
In episode eight of Everyone Loves Me, Gu Xun tries to talk to Zhou, who ignores him. He wants to tell her that he is no one but her online gaming partner and has always liked her, but he fails. She clarifies to him that they will maintain their professional relationship, but she is not interested in maintaining any personal relationship with him.

Gu Xun picks up some stuff and returns to his apartment with his friend. He is surprised to run into Qian Ling in front of the life. When he realizes that Qian Ling has moved into the same apartment complex as him, his happiness knows no bounds. Qian Ling, on the other hand, pays no attention to him. She only answers to Gu Xun’s friend and quickly leaves the spot. Gu Xun’s friend points out that Qian Ling was a bubbly girl, but her personality changed after she got hurt.
Gu Xun tries to win her trust again. He attempts to cook her favorite meal to impress her. Meanwhile, Qian Ling is annoyed because the AC in her room does not work. She opens up about it and about how she has been cold towards Gu Xun recently to her online friend, not knowing that she is talking to Gu Xun himself.
After hearing her worries, Gu Xun decides to come over and fix her AC. He gives her the remote to his AC. Qian Ling pushes him out of the window. She misunderstands his intentions and thinks that Gu Xun must worry that he might get into trouble if she dies.
Trouble occurs at the office when one of the crucial scenes of an unreleased video game gets leaked. But they work together to avert the situation. The next day, Gu Xun again tries to talk to Qian Ling. But she is not ready to listen to anything he says and completely ignores him.
The drama follows the genres of romance and youth. Everyone Loves Me airs on Mondays to Fridays. It is available for streaming on Youku.
