Bonney meets the doctor, who reveals that he has Nomi Nomi no Mi, which grants him complete knowledge of the punk records. Vegapunk reveals the ancient giant robot’s attack on Mary Geoise 200 years ago and it’s power source. Luffy and Bonney are tasked with taking Dr. Vegapunk away from Egghead.
We might have some backstory to Kuma and Bonney’s lives. The audience would want to know Kuma’s origin story, given that the scientist had converted Kuma into a cyborg. This will also mark the start of the Egghead Arc, where we will see Luffy and his crew protect Dr. Vegapunk from the Marines.
