This year’s highly anticipated Thai movie The Interest, starring Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree and Yaya Urassaya Sperbund, finally has a release date. Having been announced back in 2022, fans have been eagerly awaiting the movie’s release. The Interest is a Thai remake of the Korean movie Man in Love, directed by Han Dong-Wook.
The upcoming movie stars two of the top actors in the Thai entertainment industry. Bright Vachirawit is best known for starring in Thai Dramas 2gether and F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers. On the other hand, Yaya Urassaya is a famous Lakorn (Thai TV soap) star who has received various prestigious accolades during her acting career. Yaya is set to star in the upcoming drama Love at First Night. Beyond the screens, both Bright and Yaya have continued to wow fans at several high-profile fashion shows across the globe.

The Interest will hit the theaters on Thursday, April 25, 2024, in Thailand. The makers have not yet released information on the film’s international debut.

Additionally, the movie follows the story of a debt collector who is constantly surrounded by conflict and violence. However, the ruthless collector has a change of heart when he’s sent to collect debt from a young, beautiful woman. She refuses to pay back as there was no contract during the deal. Since he is completely smitten with her, he comes up with an exclusive “dating contract” to help her pay off her debt. He offers to pay off the interest on her behalf if she agrees to go on dates with him.
The Interest movie promises to be a heart-fluttering yet poignant watch.
