Coupang Play is gearing up for a brand new series Cinderella at 2 AM. On Thursday, March 28, 2024, the network announced that the drama will include Shin Hyun-Been and Moon Sang-Min as the lead couple.
The upcoming rom-com breaks stereotypes while narrating the story of Cinderella. In the series, Ha Yoon-Seo (Shin Hyun-Been) decides to break up with her chaebol boyfriend Seo Joo-Won (Moon Sang-Min).
Cinderella at 2 AM gives viewers an interesting outlook on the fairy tale, mixing it with real-life situations and a rather complicated love story. As of now, no exact release has been revealed. However, she soon learns that her younger boyfriend, Seo Joo-Won, is a third-generation chaebol. One fine day, Joo-Won’s mother gives Yoon-Seo an envelope full of money, urging her to break up with Joo-Won.
Eventually, Yoon-Seo accepts the money and ends her relationship with Joo-Won. Meanwhile, the latter is Yoon-Seo’s polar opposite when it comes to thoughts on love and romance. Joo-Won believes that if two people are in love, their socio-economic backgrounds and status do not matter. Although Yoon-Seo is bent on breaking up with him, Joo-Won does everything in his power to try and change her mind.
