JTBC recently shared the Hide episode 5 trailer, starring Lee Bo-Young in the lead role. She plays Na Moon-Young, who investigates her husband’s case after his disappearance.
In episode 4, Moon-Young found out that her husband, Cha Sung-Jae (Lee Moo-Saeng), was alive and faked his suicide. He gave her a piece of evidence against Ma Kang (Hong Seo-Jun), who is responsible for Sung-Jae’s current situation. Moon-Young used the evidence to expose Ma Kang’s crimes and sent him to jail. When she thought her problems were over, the episode’s ending dropped a bomb. Her neighbor, Ha Yeon-Joo (Lee Chung-Ah), showed her real face.
The trailer of the upcoming episode 5 features Yeon-Joo blackmailing Moon-Young. She has kidnapped the latter’s husband.

Hide drama episode 5 trailer teases Lee Chung-Ah using Lee Bo-Young’s husband as bait
In the Hide drama episode 5 trailer, Yeon-Joo (Lee Chung-Ah) shows Lee Bo-Young’s Moon-Young a photo of Sung-Jae. The latter is beaten up and has been held hostage.
Previously, Moon-Young found out that Ma Kang had died in prison. Looking at Yeon-Joo’s reaction, she knows her neighbor is behind the incident. Moon-Young looks shocked seeing Yeon-Joo’s true face.
Meanwhile, the episode 5 trailer shows Yeon-Joo blackmailing Moon-Young using her husband Sung-Jae as bait. She tells Bo-Young’s character, “There’s something you need to do, Ms. Na. It was supposed to be your husband’s job, but…” Moon-Young negotiates with her, asking to first let her check on her husband.
In response, Yeon-Joo states that Sung-Jae will return unharmed if the task is completed on time. Moon-Young looks terrified and confused, wondering who Yeon-Joo is and why she has been living as her neighbor.
Meanwhile, Do Jin-Woo (Lee Min-Jae) investigates the person who shot bullets at him. The ending of the trailer further fuels suspense and curiosity in the storyline.
Hide drama episode 5 will air on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC. It is also available for streaming on Viki.
Hide drama episode 4 recap & spoilers: Lee Chung-Ah’s behavior stuns Lee Bo-Young
Hide K-drama episode 4 aired on Sunday, March 31, 2024, on JTBC. It began with Moon-Young discovering that Sung-Jae was alive. She confronted him and tried to understand why he deceived his family. Later, he gave her a piece of evidence that could help seek revenge on Ma Kang, who had forced him to fake his death.
Moon-Young decided to bring down Ma Kang and filed a complaint against him. During the court hearing, she shocked Ma Kang by exposing his crimes. After he went to jail, Moon-Young requested her husband to return home and reveal everything to the police. Meanwhile, Do Jin-Woo found Sung-Jae and attacked him, asking what happened to Tae-Soo. But their scuffle didn’t last long as someone hit him on his head.
The next scene featured Moon-Young’s encounter with her friendly neighbor, Yeon-Joo. The latter invited her to a gathering consisting of their society friends. Like a wonderful host, she handed over small gifts to her guests. When Moon-Young peeked into hers, she found bundles of cash, leaving her stunned.
Once the guests left, Moon-Young witnessed Yeon-Joo’s dark side. Lee Bo-Young’s character found out that Ma Kang died in prison. It appeared Yeon-Joo was behind it.
In the next episode, viewers will learn more about Yeon-Joo and her intentions. Hide episode 5 will air this weekend on JTBC and Viki.
