Celine has been closely working with the K-pop industry for a while. The French luxury fashion house has previously selected artists like BTS V and Blackpink Lisa to be its global ambassadors. Danielle became the brand’s latest K-pop face in March 2024.

After months of anticipation, Celine has finally shared the first look of NewJeans Danielle in an Instagram post. The 19-year-old K-pop star donned Celine’s Chasseur jacket and accessorized it with a Victoire bag for her first look.
Before Celine, NewJeans Danielle was the brand ambassador of Burberry in January 2023. She is the global brand ambassador of Yves Saint Laurent Beauty. Other members of NewJeans have also started solo ventures with various brands. In 2022, NewJeans Hanni was selected as the brand ambassador of the Italian luxury label Gucci.
Following Gucci, Armani Beauty also chose Hanni as its global brand ambassador. Hanni’s Armani Beauty deal was significant to the K-pop industry as she became the first Korean pop idol to snag the exclusive contract. She also became the face of Dior.
Later, another NewJeans member, Minji, became Chanel’s brand ambassador in February 2023. In addition to their solo ventures, NewJeans also became a group ambassador of Levi’s.
Meanwhile, NewJeans is gearing up for an eventful May with two comeback singles. The title track, “How Sweet,” and the B-side song, “Bubble Gum,” will come to music platforms on May 24. Following the double single release, NewJeans will release two more songs, “Super Natural” and “Right Now,” on June 21.
After the comeback, NewJeans will hold their fan meeting, Bunnies Camp 2024 at Tokyo Dome on June 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. KST/ 6 a.m. ET. Per the official poster, the fan meeting will run for 150 minutes. The “Ditto” crooners will perform 24 songs.
