Trevor Moore was an American writer, actor, filmmaker, and comedian whose life tragically ended on August 7, 2021, at the age of 41.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner made Moore’s autopsy report public three months after his passing. According to People Magazine, his cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head. Apart from this, there is no other information about his demise.
Moore was best known for being among the founding members of the Whitest Kids U’ Know (WKUK) comedy troupe, along with Zach Cregger and Sam Brown. Eventually, this trio became a quintet after Timmy Williams and Darren Trumeter joined them. After the comedian’s demise, his manager released a statement on behalf of his family and wife, Aimee Carlson. It stated that Moore’s death devastated Carlson, who also had a son with him.
His family’s lives revolved around him; he was much more than just an actor and a comedian. “We are devastated by the loss of my husband, best friend, and the father of our son. He was known as a writer and comedian to millions, and yet to us he was simply the center of our whole world.”
In the same statement, Carlson said that her family was unsure how they’d handle such a huge loss, but all that remained was his memories. After his death, thousands paid tribute to him, and the family was grateful for such a heartwarming response. However, she requested for privacy.
She said, “We’re thankful for the memories we do have that will stay with us forever. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received from everyone. This is a tragic and sudden loss, and we ask that you please respect our privacy during this time of grieving.”

Trevor Moore died after he accidentally fell from the second-story balcony of his Los Angeles home. Per Deadline, the coroner’s report revealed that the accident took place in the comedian’s backyard. His body was discovered on the patio. The coroner learned about this information from footage captured in a security camera. Furthermore, the deceased blood alcohol level was way above the legal limit.
Following Moore’s death, the co-founders of WKUK released a statement in which they expressed their sadness. They called their friend’s death “unimaginable” and sympathized with his wife and son. Additionally, just like Aimee Carlson, they requested privacy. The statement read, “Early this morning, we learned that we lost our brother, our collaborator, and the driving force behind WKUK. He was our best friend, and we speak for all of us in saying that the loss of Trevor is unimaginable.”
It further read, “On behalf of WKUK, we ask for privacy during our time of profound grief. And strength for his family who are dealing with the impossible thought of living life without him. Our hope is that friends, fellow artists, and fans that loved him will not focus on his death, but will remember the countless moments of laughter he gave them.”
