In Frankly Speaking episode 10, Ki-Baek and Woo-Joo watch Choi-Hui’s video where she bashes Couple’s Paradise. She calls it a “fake” and claims that Ki-Baek appeared on the show because of Woo-Joo. Choi-Hui also states that Woo-Joo threatened Choi Yoo-Yeon to leave the show.

Woo-Joo asks the show’s producer, Chae Yeon, if they can speak to Choi-Hui. Chae Yeon informs her that she has fled to France after posting the video.

For context, the previous episode showed that Choi-Hui became jealous of Ki-Baek and Woo-Joo’s relationship. So far, she has been lying to the public that she’s dating Ki-Baek. The latter let her do it so that Choi-Hui could earn money and attention. But the news of his dating life made Choi-Hui furious, and hence, she spread fake news.

Meanwhile, the controversy affects the show’s upcoming season. The production team worries if the renewal has been canceled. Woo-Joo arrives at the office to apologize for the mess but faces criticism from the director. Things go out of hand when a fan of Jung-Heon attacks her. Fortunately, Ki-Baek and Jung-Heon are hanging out together and arrive near the house at the right time.

They file a complaint against the attacker at the police station. There, the trio learns that the attacker is a Jung-Heon fan and wants to hurt Woo-Joo because she rejected the top star. Jung-Heon later questions his decision to continue to live the life of an actor. On the other hand, Ki-Baek decides to do an interview, explaining his relationship status, to protect Woo-Joo.

Initially, the couple plans to lie to the public and say they are not dating. But it is difficult for Ki-Baek to lie, given his unique condition.
