Spoilers. Munjya’s ending scene shows Abhishek Banerjee’s character, Jana, calling out in a jungle with a suspenseful background score. Suddenly, Varun Dhawan’s character, Bhaskar, appears from behind a rock, completely naked.
Jana hands him clothes, one of which has Munni written on it. When Bhaskar comments on it, viewers hear the tormenting ghost Munjya whisper Munni, adding a chilling touch to the scene. The post is now deleted.
Munjya revolves around a young boy who dies before a pivotal moment in his life. His spirit roams to fulfill his unfinished desires, particularly his wish to marry a girl named Munni. The post-credit scene subtly highlights this connection, tying the mythological backstory to the speculated plot of Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya 2.
Previously, the buzz around Varun Dhawan’s cameo in Munjya intensified when Sharvari posted a picture with him, captioned, “Bhediya wants to know who is #Munjya’s Munni.” And now, the Munjya ending scene has solidified the speculation.
Director Aditya Sarpotdar hinted at connections between his film and the broader universe. “Some even felt like there’s a separate Stree universe and Munjya is a part of it,” he stated. However, he added, “There could be connections in my films too. You’ll come to know of that when you see it.”
