Recently, the upcoming Thai GL series Petrichor has unveiled its new cast members. On-screen couple Engfa Waraha and Charlotte Austin will lead the new series. The pair recently starred in Club Friday Season 16: Hot Love Issue’s Love Bully. In the upcoming drama, Engfa and Charlotte will step into the shoes of an officer and a forensic doctor, respectively. After unveiling the first look earlier this month, Petrichor has now added two more actors to its cast.
Who are Petrichor’s new cast members?
It was recently announced that Na Naphat Vikairungroj and Max Nattapol Diloknawarit have joined the cast of Petrichor as the second couple in the series. Na boasts an impressive acting stint as he has appeared in several projects. The actor was previously seen in a support role in the massive hit Thai BL series KinnPorsche. Na’s works as a lead actor include Bad Guys and One Night Stand among others.
Meanwhile, Max made his acting debut with Bad Romance in 2016. Some of his best works are Together with Me, and Bangkok Love Stories 2: Innocence. However, Max’s most notable work was in the 2020 BL drama, Manner of Death. This year, the actor also starred in the new Thai film, Kuman Thong.
In Petrichor, Max and Na will play the roles of Kawin and Tin, respectively. The series is based on Petrichor — Rust in the Rain, a web novel by an author duo named SIXTEENSEVEN. Furthermore, it is translated by Sirin Mungcharoen. The storyline follows a rookie officer named Lieutenant Tul. Her first field deployment leads her to Dr. Cherran from the Institute of Forensic Science. Despite their different professional outlooks, the two eventually get close as they work together to analyze evidence from crime scenes.
