How Were Usher’s Tweets Deleted on X? Twitter ‘Hack’ Explained

The controversy surrounding American rapper Sean Diddy Combs seems to involve more and more celebrities. The latest artist associated with the dispute is Usher, whose X (formerly Twitter) posts were recently deleted under unexplained circumstances. As such, fans have speculated that this mysterious activity has something to do with Diddy, who is currently battling with serious legal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. But how did Usher’s tweets get deleted in between Diddy’s controversy?

Here are all the available details regarding the singer’s recent digital sweep.

Did Usher delete all his tweets?

At the time of writing, it is unclear if Usher’s tweets were actually deleted by the artist himself.

Things began to unravel after it was discovered that over 7,000 tweets from Usher’s X profile were erased without any explanation. The timing of this incident coincided with the revelation of Diddy’s federal charges, causing an uproar among fans.

Many interpreted Usher’s deleted tweets as a sign of his involvement in his mentor’s legal troubles. However, despite the speculations, Usher has yet to be implicated in any criminal activities associated with Diddy. (via The Express Tribune)

Was Usher’s X account hacked?

Usher has claimed that his X profile was hacked, leading to the wiping of his countless tweets. However, no concrete evidence has been released to support the “Nice & Slow” singer’s claims as of now.

The R&B icon recently shared an X post to clarify how his social media profile got wiped. Responding to all the allegations, Usher wrote, “Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it! See you tonight at Intuit Dome.” The incident was followed by singer P!nk also deleting most of her tweets.

Moreover, even actress Megan Fox followed suit by removing much of the content from her social media profile. Consequently, fans have theorized that the simultaneous cleansing of celebrities’ digital slate has something to do with Diddy’s ongoing case.

Usher has denied deleting his tweets and is yet to be charged with any illegal activity. Nevertheless, he has been named in a lawsuit filed by Dawn Richard involving the alleged physical abuse that Combs inflicted on his former partner. As per Richard, Usher was supposedly present at the scene during the occurrence of the violation. The singer had previously revealed that he witnessed several contentious and wild activities taking place at Diddy’s house in his younger years.
