Additionally, a long-awaited character’s name is mentioned for the first time. The episode ends on a big cliffhanger, with Teen announcing that one of the coven members is dead.
Here is everything that happens at the end of Agatha All Along Episode 3.
The ending of Agatha All Along Episode 3 explained
In this episode, it is clear that the sigil or spell placed on Teen was not just to hide him from Agatha but other witches as well. Further, the mystery surrounding him becomes further complicated when he says that his parents are asleep while traveling the road, even though he said his mother was dead in the previous episode.
Teen also briefly interacts with Jennifer Kale, who gives him reasonable advice about not trusting Agatha. Kale then discloses that people believe that the titular character traded her son for the Book of the Damned or the Darkhold. Jennifer even states that people think Agatha’s son might have become an Agent of Mephisto, a demonic entity whose potential appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been speculated on since WandaVision.
Traversing through the road, the coven ends up in a house on the beach, where the first trial takes place. The group gets poisoned with what Jennifer deduces as Alewife’s Revenge. Some have vivid visions of their past and why they are traveling the road. Agatha initially doesn’t drink the poison. After being told that she has to drink it to complete the trial, she does and hallucinates about finding the Darkhold in what appears to be her son’s crib.
Eventually, Jennifer brews a potion that saves the lives of the coven members. An oven door opens up, and the group leaves the house through it just before it is flooded. However, just as they are about to celebrate that they are all alive, Teen announces that Sharon is dead and closes her eyes.
Did Mrs. Hart / Sharon Davis truly die?
Yes, it appears that Mrs. Hart / Sharon (Debra Jo Rupp) is dead. She never belonged in the coven. This episode heavily implies this. The Green Witch is most likely Aubrey Plaza’s Rio Vidal, and Agatha didn’t recruit her because of their complicated past. Mrs. Hart / Sharon Davis was introduced in WandaVision and was one of Scarlet Witch’s hex victims. She found herself again in magic’s grasp when Agatha brought her into the coven, which led to her eventual demise.
However, in the universe where magic and incredible technology exist, death is not as permanent as in the real world. In an interview with TVLine, Jo Rupp teased that episode 3 might not be the end of her character. “How much of this have you seen? So, you need to watch more. But yes, I’m very pleased with Sharon’s arc,” she said.
