Many fans are curious to know what Cher said about her boyfriend from her teenage years in her latest memoir. Her latest remarks on losing her virginity as a teenager have garnered a lot of attention from fans. So, here are all the details of what Cher said exactly.

Cher’s comment on ‘loaning out’ her virginity explained

On November 19, Cher’s new memoir titled  Cher: The Memoir, Part One dropped, which details Cher’s experiences with her boyfriend from her teenage years. Recalling her teenage love story, she revealed having a crush on a boy, residing in her neighborhood. They eventually struck a connection and began seeing each other, when she was 14.

Notably, their physical intimacy began with sharing a kiss in her bedroom. However, what came as a surprise for Cher was a sudden shift in her boyfriend’s behavior with her and when he was around his friends. She said that he used to behave “sweet” during their time together. What made her feel bad was when he was with his friends, he treated her badly, like “an embarrassing kid,” she recalled.

His actions repeatedly hurt her feelings, including when the boys planned an outing at a restaurant and he didn’t take her, making her feel unwanted.

Cher wrote about her boyfriend, “I was so hurt when he did that, I had revenge sex with him. I had never wanted to. Otherwise, I would have done it one of the five hundred other times he asked. But I was so angry at being dismissed, I decided to, if not lose, loan out my virginity to him.”

She deemed their overall sexual experience as “overrated.” To make him feel bad, she asked him to go and never come back in an attempt to make him feel the same way he made her feel in front of his friends.
