What happens in the Trailer Park Boys movie clip?
Having traveled to Europe to open for The Boxmasters, the exclusive Trailer Park Boys movie clip sees Bubbles and Randy meet Billy Bob Thornton, who founded the band and is playing himself in the film. While Thornton appears to be a bit taken aback by Randy’s lack of a shirt, Bubbles makes a strong impression and gets an invite to a party that’s happening later on in the evening.
“While Bubbles and his band, The Shitrockers, are playing shows around Nova Scotia a viral internet clip lands them a European tour opening for Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters,” the synopsis for the movie reads. “With Randy as their roadie, they head to Prague but soon get kicked off the tour, busking to survive. Can Ricky and Julian come to the rescue?”
Bubbles and The Shitrockers are a real-life musical act that is fronted by Smith. The band will release a brand-new, 14-track album this coming fall.
Written by Smith, the new Trailer Park Boys movie also stars The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood and The Umbrella Academy’s Robert Sheehan.
Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties: The Bubbles and the Shitrockers Story will be released in United States theaters nationwide, including Los Angeles and New York City, on December 6, 2024.
