The Yellowjackets Season 3 teaser trailer previews the debut of two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank, teasing a new mystery ahead of the Showtime show’s return.
Yellowjackets Season 3 will premiere on February 14, 2025, on Paramount+ with Showtime. It will then have its linear broadcast debut two days later on Showtime.

What happens in the new Yellowjackets teaser trailer?
The teaser comes in at just over a minute, soundtracked by an eerie repetition of “everything will be okay.” It starts with a girl running in the woods. She’s seemingly being hunted down by the titular yellowjackets. This is edited along with a character, in the present-day, recapping the premise of the Showtime thriller. “Once upon a time a bunch of teenagers got stranded in the woods and went completely nuts,” the character summarizes.
The Yellowjackets teaser then includes a scene of the teens’ wounded coach, among the targets of the cannibal teenagers. In the present timeline, Shauna’s daughter says she wants to know what really happened in the woods and the teaser reveals that Shauna is still seeing her dead friend Jackie (played by Ella Purnell).
But perhaps the biggest reveal of the new Yellowjackets preview is that someone is sending threatening letters to the main characters in the present day. Shauna receives these letters, as does Misty and seemingly the rest of the adults who survived the wilderness. Vanessa points out that the only people who know what happened are either in the group already or they’re dead.
Finally, after a quick cut of all the intense moments ahead, including an adult Misty seemingly stabbing Shauna, Swank’s character is introduced. The lower half of her face is bloodied, with the character dropping an expletive and then starting to run in the other direction. The teaser was unveiled at the Paramount+ panel at this year’s CCXP event in Brazil, which featured cast members Sophie Nélisse, Sophie Thatcher, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Courtney Eaton, and Kevin Alves.
The cast of Yellowjackets Season 3 also includes Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Lauren Ambrose, Nélisse, Brown, Eaton, Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Warren Kole, Alves, Sarah Desjardins, and Simone Kessell, with Elijah Wood returning in a recurring role and Joel McHale as a guest star.
