Who Is the Psychiatrist in Kraven the Hunter?

Since Kraven the Hunter was released recently, fans have been curious about who the psychiatrist that Dmitri refers to in the last scene is. This particular doctor is revealed to have aided Sergei’s brother in gaining his new superpowers. He has turned him into a classic Spider-Man villain, who has wicked schemes planned, involving his deceased father’s criminal empire.

So, here’s everything you need to know about the psychiatrist in Kraven the Hunter.

Kraven the Hunter’s Psychiatrist character explained

The Psychiatrist in question in Kraven the Hunter is likely Dr. Miles Warren, also known as The Jackal in Marvel Comics.

After Kraven and Dmitri’s cruel father’s demise, everything doesn’t end well for the former. In the end, he gets a shocking revelation from his half-sibling, who now goes by the moniker, The Chameleon. Dmitri reveals that he went to a psychiatrist (speculated to be Dr. Warren), who graced him with a new identity. Using his powers, he can now shapeshift into anyone and will take over their father’s criminal empire. Since Dr. Warren’s reveal, many have wondered who the psychiatrist is and how he is connected to the SSU.

Miles Warren is a supervillain in comics, who made his debut in The Amazing Spider-Man #31 in 1965. In his early years, he served as a biology professor at Empire State University. During that time, he comes across Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, eventually developing feelings for the latter. Once in an altercation between Spider-Man and Green Goblin, Gwen loses her life. However, Warren boils with rage and insanity, holding the Webhead accountable for Gwen’s death. To seek revenge on him, he creates his alter-ego, The Jackal.

In his later years, Warren also gets involved with the high revolutionary at Wundagore Mountain, wielding the ability to transform humans into animals and vice versa. However, things escalate between them as well when he manages to surpass their expectations, creating human-like ‘New Men.’

Nevertheless, since his character’s genesis in the comics, Miles Warren has been a genius, whose expertise is in biochemistry and cloning. After altering his genes to become The Jackal, he also gains powers like speed, agility, and strength.
