However, the biggest revelation of the night comes when Lulu confronts Lois regarding the secret of Gio‘s true parentage in General Hospital.
With Lulu adamant about getting the truth out in the open, fans of the long-running soap have initiated a debate to discuss whether Alexa Havins Bruening’s character overstepped the line with her recent revelation.
Was Lulu right to expose Gio’s secret about his parents in General Hospital?
On the May 22 episode of General Hospital, Lois confides in Lulu, noting that Brook Lynn is unaware of the secret about Gio’s parentage. She goes on to say that she and her mother did not want to let go of Gio and therefore, made arrangements to keep him in the family.
At this point, Lulu drops the bombshell that Gio has led a life full of lies, not knowing that he is the son of Brook Lynn and Dante, and not the offspring of Camilla and Francis Palmieri. Unbeknownst to the two women, Gio had been listening to their conversation all along and inadvertently ended up learning the truth about his parents.
To make matters worse on General Hospital, Lulu also puts an ultimatum for Lois to reveal Gio’s secret, failing which, she’ll take matters into her own hands. This has led GH fans to question Lulu’s aggressive demeanor regarding a topic that does not necessarily concern her. Most viewers seem to put Lulu in the wrong, with one user writing in a Facebook discussion, “Yes she should keep her nose out and spend time with her son and daughter they missed 4 years without her,” followed by an angry emoji. Another fan noted, “Wasn’t her place to get involve and run her mouth!!! Yes parents have a right to know who their kid is or where but it wasn’t lulu’s biz to tell.”
