The countdown to MobLand‘s final episode, titled “The Beast in Me,” has begun, and viewers are eager to learn Bella Harrigan‘s ultimate plan in the show. From what the previous episodes have revealed, Bella wants to establish her independence with a secret scheme involving UK government officials.
Bella’s plan and what she’s trying to do in MobLand, explained
MobLand Episode 9 finally hinted at Bella‘s real agenda concerning the Harrigans. In the latest episode, Kevin‘s wife orchestrated a meeting between her father, the UK’s Home Secretary, Antoine, and a “client”, who turns out to be an arms dealer.
Viewers also witnessed the “meeting” being secretly recorded through Antoine’s tie camera. From Bella’s point of view, it appears she wants to gain enough influence on her own to stand her ground against Conrad Harrigan.
Earlier in Episode 8, Conrad reminded Bella not to forget who “owns” her. Fans suspect Bella will use the arms deal between Antoine’s Syrian client and the government.
Viewers also theorize that Bella’s deal connects to Kat McAllister. She clearly holds a powerful role, although the specifics of her position remain unknown. One fan posted on Reddit, “The Bella subplot will likely be tied to the Kat favor, and Kat is being set up to be Season 2’s protagonist.”
Another fan theorized that Bella’s plan could be a plot point for Season 2. The user shared, “Bella’s subplot with the Syrian arms dealer looks like a setup for S2. Everything about Kat McAllister is clearly set up for S2.”
Meanwhile, Bella has completely disregarded Harry‘s advice regarding the shady operation. From what we’ve seen, Bella and Harry appear to share a connection that the show has yet to fully explore. On the other hand, Bella also shares a complex history with Conrad Harrigan.
Following Maeve’s cryptic comment about Kevin’s “other brother,” viewers anticipate whether MobLand’s finale will reveal Eddie’s true identity. With one mystery solved, audiences hope the finale will reveal Bella’s true motives and other loose ends.
MobLand’s Season 1 finale will air on June 1 on Paramount+.
