As usual, the night started with the depiction of pre-show arrivals of superstars such as Gunther, Bayley, and Jey Uso. The night’s first segment featured Liv Morgan and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. The former discussed her attack on Nikki Bella on last week’s Raw. IYO Sky appeared and forced both Morgan and Dominik out of the ring. The Judgment Day, Bayley, Nick Aldis, and others also appeared throughout the night. Additionally, Goldberg returned and challenged World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. Their match will take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12.

There were four matches tonight: Asuka vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Raquel Rodriguez, AJ Styles vs. JD McDonagh, Kairi Sane vs. Liv Morgan, and Jey Uso vs. Rusev vs. Sheamus vs. “Big” Bronson.

Asuka vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Raquel Rodriguez
